It can happen, the testers are human. Chances are if that person is polite to the tester and not dressed like they are up facing a drug possession charge in the district court. They might let little things slide or at the very least class any mistakes made a grade lower in severity.
By the end of the test, you will be amazed how these little things add up and can shift a minor fail to a minor pass.

Some of the complaints seem genuine. Testers should not be intimidating to people doing the test. However if you stall the car 3 times you are failing and can’t have any complaints.
