Yes!! Let them. Their employer did *NOT* have they (the employees’) info. safe and secure. Employees data *must* be safe and secure AT ALL TIMES.
It will be ridiculous is literally nothing ever comes of this.

It’d be nice if data breaches were taken more seriously as a matter of course, so I’m cautiously in favour of this to set a precedent that you can’t be careless with people’s data.
