It was such a mistake by Ukrainian oligarchy to push low quality grain to Poland illegally before upcoming elections in Poland.
Polish ruling party had to intervene to save chances of winning the election, and in the process relationship between Poland and Ukraine weakened significantly. Russian propaganda had a field day on this, but unfortunately they were correct.
And then there was this incredibly decision of Ukrainian to summon Bartosz Cichocki, Polish ambassador who was so pro Ukraine. That was big hostile move by Ukraine that didn’t go unnoticed.
Polish president sends pretty straight forward message and there’s no surprise to me. Ukrainian went too hard and that’s going to have consequences.
Reminder that this pis government was the most Ukraine unfriendly government post 1989 until Russia invaded Ukraine. Duda refused to visit Ukraine despite numerous invites for example. Pis just like pre wwii Poland hates on all Poland’s neighbors.
EU market here means Polish farmer.
(And he is right to do so by the way). But the price to pay could be to stop lecturing people and accept to say than Poland, as France and Germany, UK, US fight for their own advantages before fighting for other.
