  1. >Lokman Benharkou (29), who resides in asylum accommodation at the Carnbeg Hotel, Armagh Road, Dundalk, Co Louth, was charged with assault causing harm to two women at Park Street at about 1.30am on Friday.

    >The Algerian national was granted bail with strict conditions when he appeared before Judge Susan Fay at a weekend sitting of Dublin District Court.

Get him on the first plane out of here

It gets even better, he lived in the UK for 11 years before coming here, why should he be entitled to asylum? Is the UK not safe?

  2. 11 years in the UK and shows up here. Hmmmm you’d wonder if he has form for this.

    EDIT: typo

  3. Makes a mockery of genuine asylum seekers. He should be on a flight out and barred from re-entering the EU.

  4. Granted bail. Justice system are probably hoping he fucks off back to the U.K. Case closed

  5. Imagine he turned up at judge Susan’s house seeing as she released him on bail? Would she feel safe?

  6. This is the kind of case that the far right justifiably salivates for:

-There’s almost no grounds for an Algerian to justifiably claim asylum.
-His circumstances, as explained in the article, make it even more unlikely.
-Committing crimes as an asylum seeker should immediately grant deportation.
