A wartime economy is a strange thing. For a country that is self sufficient, and has everything they need within their borders, I dont know how much they would be hurting. Jobs are jobs. Whether you’re building cars or tanks. Sewing jeans or uniforms. Jobs there are plentiful and paying the bills. There’s an old quote about economics: “when all else fails, they take you to war”
I hope it does not hurt too much. I feel bad for the citizens
I wonder how much better off Russia would be if they never annexed Crimea and instead focused on economic development.
