What was that slogan from 2004 from the GC… We vote no today for a strong yes tomorrow?
Is anyone really surprised?
The Turkish settler population continues to grow faster than the native Cypriot population on either side, and inside the portion of the island that has a lower population, meaning the statistical impact is larger.
At the same time, the north sees an influx of foreign immigrants like the south, which again disproportionately affects it due to lower population.
Russians are gonna be flooding more than they did to us. With all the sanctions they will be all slowly moving to the north. Their money isn’t safe in Cyprus banks anymore.
