So far (since the start of the war), Sweden has committed 1.7 billion USD in military support to Ukraine. The primary aim of this (the 13th) package seems to be to further support the CV90s and Archer units already at work in Ukraine.
While not part of this package, Sweden is also looking into the possibility of providing AMRAAM for Ukraine, which would be a huge problem for the Russian airforce (since it has a 75 km air-to-air autonomous radar lock range).
We’re approaching 2 bln dollars. We could just head for the third billion too, with Gripens and training for them. It would be the best use of my tax money I’ve ever seen. Slava Ukraini!
