On this day in 1914, the Battle of Cer begins when Austro-Hungarian troops invaded Serbia. It ended 9 days later with a Serbian victory, marking the first victory of Entente allies in the Great War.

On the picture we see a monument standing atop of graves of fallen Serbian soldiers, as well as Czechs who were killed trying to switch sides, since they refused to fight against a Slavic country.
Some info about the youngest soldier in the battle, aged 8 at the time:

A massacre never to be forgotten. And one of the positive moments of serbian history of 20th century. Its a shame that 20th century ended with serbs committing war crimes around a country they fought for and helped to create.
