So apparently bank of ireland was glitched today allowing people to transfer money to their revolu even if they had no cash in their BOI account. Large queues outside some atms

The app has been down all day alright but surely theyll have a digital receipt for those whitdrawals and they’ll all get nabbed?

Okay, I am in no way condoning the removal of funds you don’t have in the account. But as someone who is a BOI customer I am now worried about my own funds!
Given the fact that the app was down all day and I received no communication from the bank, maybe it would be wise to remove my monies from the bank, no?
You can bet there will be some People Before Profit or Irish Council for Civil Liberties gobshite on the radio in the morning calling for them to be allowed to keep the money because it was really the bank’s mistake.
Only the best of people lined up at these ATM’s I assume, ‘the salts of the earth’ they’re often referred to.
