Hungary, Romania, and Ukraine all share the mythology of that 3-headed dragon? I believe it’s name is either Sarkany or Balaur
Great map!

It’s work for a Witcher.
Looks badass.
where’s the Cucafera
Need more relosution.I’d like to se and read every detail….
Where is näcken? (Dont know what its called in english)
Apparently we have a licker (123). Never heard of him, seems lick a nice guy.
Is it possible to send in additional mythological creatures? I think they have missed an ogre in Bayern / Franken, Germany. He’s acutally quite famous in some circles
In Croatia there should be a fairy instead of a witch. Never heard about witches in Croatian folk stories, but fairies were very common, and are even present in the first Croatian novel “The Mountains”.
-Finland with valkyrie-
??????????
This map again?
Finland is wrong. While we share some folklore with other nordic countries, finnish mythology has its own creatures as well.
>-Sleipnir and Valkyrie have nothing to do with Finland
>-Goat that produces mead instead of milk is also Scandinavian
Then we have stuff that this map leaves out and should at least be included (not in any way exhaustive):
>-Maahinen – small humanoid creatures that live underground in another world, sometimes mischievous
>-Trolls – both normal and mountain trolls appear in Finnish folklore
>-Vesihiisi/Vetehinen/Näkki – malicious water spirits
I believe the author of the source didn’t care so much for Albanian mythology so I am helping him out a bit. While its true that there is a witch, there are also several more and she is not even the most popular:
1.Kulcedra – a female multi headed dragon or sometimes depicted as snake.
2. Bajloz- a monster coming from the sea, described also as gigantic, who usually came to invade the land or get the land’s profit.
3. Orat (eng. Time)- sometimes depicted as one and other times as 3, they are women who lived in the mountains and protected people.
Also knew everything about their people’s destiny. In the south there is a similar version but its called fairies (Zana).
4. Shtojzovallet- tiny creatures with supernatural powers who dance and sing but if someone speaks to them or makes them know their presence they disappear.
5. Lugati- vampire like creature who stays in the darkness and lures children.
6. Kukudhi- type of zombie, undead creature that haunts people.
There are also many more these are the ones i could remember. Would be happy to hear if other countries share similar figures as us!
I was about to say that Greece seemed strangely empty, then I saw the minimap.
Edit: No Talos on Crete? :[
You would wish you had never been born when you face a killer-snail
Why didn’t they get any students of mythology involved?
Where did the Kurds go?
Sardinia: gotta visit the Greybeards on the top of Gennargentu
LOL that the only place with a giant killer snail is France. As revenge for them eating its normal-sized cousins probably!
