The problem is they are not refugees. They are economic migrants. They paid fat money to get into the bandit state Belarus is. Their way out should be through Minsk, not Polish border. The sooner they realize that the better for them.
Granted, Iraq is a failed state.
Granted, Syria is a totalitarian state.
Granted, no one wants to live in R.F. and the entire population is either drinking themselves to death – or trying to leave.
But Belarus is a relative safe haven – and entered entirely voluntarily.
The real problem is that migrants into Belarus have decided they will make a better wage in the UK or Germany or Canada, and so want to move to a place they can make a better wage.
And, also, that realizing they cannot enter Poland, they are not allowed by the OMON and KGB to return to cities in Belarus, to live, settle, and work.
Shut up, UN. How about Belarus violating rights of Belarusians? I don’t remember any expressions of quite as deep concern.
Maybe we should focus first on Belarusian population being kidnapped, shot and tortured by their own government and having no chance to get to Belarusian border to escape?
