As a swede st Petersburg is so close but feels so far away for some reason. Id love to visit some day.
Amazing city. The sky hangs so low, the buildings stand so tall. So you feel both gargantuan and minuscule at the same time.
Already ten years since I had a great time there with my kids. Have a friend living there and without that dreading visa and registration hazzle, I surely would go there from time to time spontaneously for an extended weekend.
St. Petersburg seems amazing. I have not been there, but my little brother has and now he can’t shut up about the place.
