I locked myself up in a tiny flat for months, I rolled my arm up three times despite being terrified being terrified of needles. I didn’t do this because I’m worried of the virus (I’m relatively healthy in my mid twenties), but I was told it was the way back to normal. In what way is locking down in the winter normal?
It’s incredibly frustrating that we’re two years into this and we’re going with the last resort of locking down to not overwhelm the NHS. What did we do to beef up the NHS in the past two years?!
My partner and I are off to the States next week to visit her family for the first time in two years. Perhaps it’s selfish but we’ve no intention of cancelling it given it’s the third time it’s been rescheduled. We’ve done everything we can and decided to lay low this week so we don’t test positive beforehand. Not sure what else we can do 🙁

I foresee more last minute Plan B’s being written up.
