You should add the time of day, always interesting for foreigners
Does wall made curved specially or it is marks of age?
Just in time, five minutes later and it would have been the sunset.
The most sun you’ll see until April.
Finland is a beautiful country.
Hakkaa päälle pohjan poika!
Here in Southern Europe we have 11 hours of sun even in the winter. You should move here
Sunrise, or high noon?
Where in Finland is this? I’ve been to Lapland in the town called Levi. Absolutely stunning place.
I thought only pictures of Esplanadi were allowed on this sub for Finland.
Its not cold enough until also the nails on the inside of the granary rimes too.
the sun is a lie!
I love how one can see that the wood changed its structure even after it had been used to build. In german we say “holz atmet” (wood breathes).
What are theese buildings? We have them here and there in the middle of nowhere in northern Sweden as well. They look like this one with a bit varying shapes. They always look abandoned and I have no idea what their purpose was.
I’m expecting Bottas to stagger out of that cabin after a long night of drinking and Sauna
What was this abandoned building used for?
How can I be sure this is not a sunset?
Let’s meet at the market! Beautiful picture anyway!
was that hut really built nearly 200 years ago or is it just random numbers on the wall
Hey that’s my cabin!
They were able to build a cabin back then!
Its -47 right now where I am in Canada. I thought this picture was from my town at first.
Hi u/winigar, nice picture 🙂 could you please confirm that you took it yourself? We confine pictures that are not original content to the weekend, so without a confirmation that you took it yourself we would have to remove it 😐
So please just change the flair of the post and select OC picture 🙂
Valheim !!
Summer
Where the Finns live.
Welcome back to the world of the living
You can always add a question mark to that statement:
Sun rise in Finland? In winter?
✨rise and shine✨
polar night
Reminds me of r/TheLongDark
Good day fellow Laplander 👋🏻
Is there a reason for the slight outward curve at the top of the side wall?
My goodness, I must move here! So serene and peaceful!
