Guessing it helps Macron in the lead-up to the election? Could be bad for the UK? Could be good for Switzerland?
Really doesn’t matter much on foreign policy. All have been weak on china and Russia and unable to support Lithuania. France is no different, as Ukraine’s defence minister said at the last nato summit meeting,. only USA, Canada, UK wanted to be more tough on Russia while France and Germany wanted to not hurt economic relations. sums it up
