Hello everyone,
I moved into to my apartment which was already configured with a electric stove that is plugged into the wall with a socket that looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/hOSs7CY.png
I have a gas boiler in the house that heats the water for warm water supply and heating as well and I assumed that I could simply buy a new gas stove and connect it to it. But seems like I need a proper connection for it which I can’t seem to find.
In this pic, the pipe the arrow is pointing to is the gas inlet pipe https://imgur.com/a/ogONwMA
Would the solution here be to just install some kind of a fixture where the inlet pipe ends (at the yellow button) and then connect the gas stove to it?
Of course, I’d hire a professional to do this since it involves gas but I just wanted to maybe be ready with additional equipment/pipes/fixtures that might be needed during the installation?
Also, who do I contact for this installation? I was told that a professional electrician is required to uninstall the current electric herd since the connection goes directly into the wall. Can I find someone who can do both the uninstallation of the electric and installation of the gas one?
