Long before it became apparent, many people tried to maintain the illusion that it wasn’t the case.
Fascism in its full form is when you start an aggressive war in the name of lebensraum and, purportedly, to defend your ethnicity.
Why a country that big and sparsely populated needs more “lebensraum” is beyond me.
pot-kettle there. English government is further right than the Thatcher governments were. Whilst the internet has radicalised the right towards fascism, the tories (and Labour) are actively pursuing their vote.
