  1. at an apple store. the title, at least to me, made it sound like they were just going after some unfortunate business

  2. Why aren’t these people at a cafes/pubs/restaurants helping the businesses that are suffering because of lost business caused by people making up their own mind whether to go out because there is no lockdown?

Maybe these people are just rent-a-mob looking to cause some aggro?

  3. I’ve caught bits of a couple of different livestreams and it’s such an amalgamation of people protesting against other things so it ends up in this massive honeypot of different reasons.

They also try to argue they’re peaceful and the police are being provocative, but from the couple of incidents i’ve seen it’s been started by protestors and the police have had to react defensively.

As is tradition however, the police will be deemed as heavy handed, even though they’re vastly outnumbered against an aggressive bunch of people who are shouting and swearing against them.

  4. People mass gather together with zero social distancing or face coverings wondering why the virus hasn’t stopped spread and blaming conspiracy theories for the rising numbers of dead unvaccinated people. You couldn’t make it up.

  5. Oh for fuck’s sake. That shop doesn’t… no. Not worth the energy to point out the fucking obvious. Just, morons being morons. May as well egg the NHS….

They’re gonna to start eggingg ambulances next, aren’t they?

  6. I sometimes wonder at protests if the vast majority of bods there are just the people there to photograph and film things. Blissfully unaware that they bump the numbers up making it look like more are there for the cause than really are.

  7. Why are they protesting a lockdown when we’re not in one, it can’t just be because they’re fucking morons, can it?

  8. Shame about the representation from certain moronic elements of society (anti-vaxxers, thugs) but otherwise this is a much needed movement.

It’s been nearly 2 years. We have empirical evidence from other countries, like Sweden or Japan, that did not lock down. We can see they had less deaths per capita than us and many other European countries. We can see the difference between Florida and California which have similar climates and totally different approaches.

Yet people continue to parrot this nonsense that ongoing lockdowns work. If you want to face another Christmas in isolation then you’re the barmy one.

  9. These aren’t protesters it’s primarily thugs and delinquents who want to riot and have a toss up with the police.

  10. Reddits standard position has been to lump “anti-covid vaccination” with ” completely anti-vax”, and now “anti lockdown” in with the bunch too. Nah. I was done after the first lockdown, if the NHS is fucked then tough, they’ve had years to sort it out now and it’s not fit for purpose any more anyway.

  11. I used to read David Icke books back in the 90’s for entertainment, i loved the parts about the lizards, but it’s because i’ve always been into sci-fi. It wasn’t until a few years ago, thanks to the internet, that i realised there are a sizeable amount of people that actually believe things like that.

If you look at his webshite now (i don’t really recommend), it’s wall to wall proclamations of shouty drivel, this is a scam, that’s a scam, everything’s a SCAM, except all his adverts for magical potions and dodgy banking, they’re definitely not scams and will fill the world full of light and harmony. I’m laughing just thinking about it, apparently we are the sheep for trying to treat Covid as the dangerous disease it is.

    What a strange world.
