Ran a poor race by her own standards. Her PB would have put her 2nd, realistically she should have been around 2nd/3rd. Still though, being disappointed with 4th because it was below par is a lot better than getting 4th whilst at your maximum. She’ll have plenty of medals in the future no doubt about it.
Such a close race for Rhasidat… Upset for her that she didn’t manage to cling to the bronze, but to be the 4th fastest woman in the world in the 400m at the age of 20 years old is some achievement, she should be so proud of herself!
A sign of good things to come next year in the Olympics, all going well 🤞
Incredible performance again.
You gotta be happy for the Polish runner, 1st EVER medal for the Poles in the event.
Tough for Adeleke considering her best time of 49.20 would have got silver tonight
Still very young though, has huge potential and plenty of running in her.
Only turns 21 next week, loads to build on. She’ll be flying the flag in Paris next year anyway.

Think everyone’s forgetting the long season she’s had, was running fast times back in December all the way through to now, impossible to peak so many times in a season. There’s a reason why you rarely see anyone from the NCAA’s do well at the world champs.
She’ll be back a lot stronger for Paris next year.
An incredible result in her first world’s.
Probably frustrating, especially as she’s run faster earlier this year. I wonder if her training schedule shifts next year to ensure she’s running her peak speed at the Olympics instead of earlier in the season?
She’ll be gutted with that. Just faded at the end
Incredible result for such a young runner. She will be back, no doubt.
She should be proud. Represented herself and the country so well. Onwards and upwards.
Will she race NCAA in 2024? Where is she planning to train otherwise?
(Doesn’t sound like she’s thrilled with the race plan she was told to follow today, but she’s obviously done amazing things this year)
Fair play to here making it so far, hope we see her at the Olympics next year
