the firefighters in that town live in constant stress, probably 😀
I don’t feel as if 20 storeys count as a skyscraper.
Lack of positivity in this thread.
The more we utilise and integrate renewables into every aspect of our lives, the better the planet will be in the long term.
Keep in mind that like 80% of Sweden is basically forest. It’s smart and intelligent use of resource.
Can this be bought in IKEA and assembled at home? 🙂
So THATS why OSB and other plywood products got so ridiculously expensive!
What a great title.
The thing is, how green is this wood, really, if used for beams in traditional construction?
Concrete, I get, because concrete is an ecological blackhole.
But steel is a primarily a ecological one-time cost and then it’s super recyclable.
For wood they still need to process it, which is probably only partly green plus they need to coat it with fire retardant, I have no idea how green it is, but I can’t imagine that it’s not at least partly derived from fossil fuels.
Till it catches on fire lol
I can smell the glue from here. Neat project though.
