Zelenskyy Presented a “National Legend of Ukraine” Award to Fuminori Tsuchiko, a Japanese Who Volunteers in Kharkiv. Full-scale invasion started, and Fuminori went to Kharkiv from Tokyo. He first helped people hiding from bombs in the metro, then opened a cafe and started giving away free hot meals.

For some time, he lived with them underground – he’s been buying and giving away product packages (e.g., with groceries) and entertaining children.

    >Time passed, and Fuminory decided to sell his house in Japan and move to Saltivka, one of the most damaged by Russian attacks neighborhoods in Kharkiv.   13. I was just showing my mother the video of Fuminori standing in front of his cafe. Then this popped up at the top of my feed, needless to say, I immideatly started crying happy tears at the sight of this post.
    Such a well deserved award for such an incredibly selfless legend such as Fuminori. A truly incredible & loving man. Glad he is getting the recognition he deserves. Hopefully this will help to bring in even more donations for his noble cause!

    This world needs more people like Fuminori Tsuchiko, an absolute legend! 💙💛
