I was reading about traveling to Norway from the US and I found this text:

https://www.norway.no/en/usa/norway-usa/san-francisco/travel-restrictions—covid-19/

> The U.S. CDC vaccine card is not accepted as proof of vaccination upon entry to Norway. If you
> wish to be counted as a vaccinated person upon entry, the COVID-19 certificate must have a QR-
> code that can be verified by the Norwegian authorities.

This makes it sound like anyone vaccinated in the US basically cannot get into Norway. I have a flight from the US to Norway with a connection in Germany. Am I screwed?

  1. If you want to legitimise your vaccination status, you might consider flying to France for a few days and having a pharmacy [convert your USA paper documents into an EU CovidPass with a QR code.](https://www.sante.fr/how-to-obtain-a-french-health-pass)

Also keep in mind for your current itinerary that you’ll likely have to clear customs in Germany, if that is your first point of arrival in Europe, and [their requirements are different than Norway.](https://www.germany.info/us-en/covid-19/2321562)

If your entry looks doubtful, your airline will deny you at boarding. So, at least you’ll be stuck at home and not some foreign airport.

  2. Get the Swiss QR Code, its 30 Euros book a refundabke flight and refundae hotel and then cancel after getting jt
