NATO presence in EU

  1. The problem with these charts is that it doesn’t show how many troops and material it means.

For example Iceland’s flag in Estonia means 1 civilian strategic communication specialist.

You might have a similar sized sign on Russia’s side that represents 10,000 troops and a lot of heavy weapons.

  2. TBH, I don’t see any reason for Russia to attack those countries. Reward is just too small. But I could see a scenario like in WW2, where they split the sphere of influences. Some deal between the US and Russia. If someone is going to sell Baltics, it is the US.

  3. **EU to US:** “Hey buddy. Back us up if things get nasty with Russia.”

**US to EU:** “Sure pal. Anything between buds. Back us up if things get nasty with China.”

**EU to US:** “Sorry fam. We need to think about that.”

  4. NATO is not a defensive organization but it is an American organization that wants to play war in the world. See Libya and Afghanistan.

  5. I like how Iceland doesn’t have a military but somehow they have troops in every Baltic state.

  6. UK and France standing side by side is good to see, although I imagine there’s a lot of banter and by that I mean I imagine the British soldiers are roasting the life out of the french.

  7. I genuinely think that large percentage of this sub would love for war to happen. There are millions of people waiting to come out. Remember how many hitler supporters were waiting in hiding to slaughter people? I bet they came in their pants once Mr. Hitler came to power and they could finally start slaughtering. These people exist all around us and the only reason they are contained is because there hasn’t been anyone like the fuhrer since. All the creatures such as Mengele and Himmler were acting normal before being given the opportunity.

  8. Definitely not done like this intentionally to flex on Russia, isolate them and make them feel under threat at all times. Definitely not no, just completely natural how all these troops and strategic bases ended up in countries on their borders.
