TIL there are glass straws
Probably because this is just [an indicator study](https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/19440049.2023.2240908) but a ton more research needs to be done to actually fully understand both the origin of the substances in the straws and the actual impact it has on people using the straws.
The reason Fox is more than happy to jump on this early study is because it supports their attack on anything that moves us away from using plastics and anything fossil fuel related.
