Literally driving through Bridgetown, Wexford atm and the amount of people pulling all the destroyed furniture etc from their homes today is heartbreaking.
It’s not how any family should be spending Christmas. Especially after the year we’ve all had
Unfortunately with some of the water level predictions for the next 10 to 50 years this will become more frequent ad widespread.
Any other day of the year that would’ve been classed as at LEAST an orange status rain warning. Met Eireann clearly dropped the ball here.
Thankfully it was on the one day of the year that roads were a lot less busy, could’ve been so many people in trouble if not
