Hi everyone,

We are more and more in CH. I was reading an article saying that official statistics in 2010 predicted we’d be 8.9M by 2055. Reality is that 13 years later we are already there.
Helvetica now says we might be 10M by 2033.

Question: how serious is the debate at federal level in terms of how the confederation will adapt the infrastructure (ie: highways, train frequency/size, housing, etc.)?

I am particularly interested in mobility. I lived in GE and VD for close to 10 years before moving to Canton Schwyz 3 years ago and the A2, 2 lanes is clearly not thought for CH and FR plates moving together. With population increasing, these sort of examples will keep popping up.

Open discussion, no judgement nor politics please! Just interest in projects that will make urbanism keep pace.

Ps, article here, with an eye on housing though:

Thanks!
