Russia getting its ass beat by angry paper airplanes now. Second army my ass!
Paper tiger getting trashed by paper drones.
Too bad, so sad……
If this pans out it’s going to be a huge gamechanger on the level of HIMARS.
Cardboard drones that can carry a [5 kg explosive](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhTiRYwJqHY&t=24s) (video shows car being blown up by a 5 kg bomb) more than a 100 km and hit a small-ish target? That’s actually crazy.
If Ukraine forces Russia to deploy and expend AA assets to shoot down cardboard drones, it would be one of the most cost-effective (and hilarious) tradeoffs in military history. Imagine having to expend AA missiles to bring down a hunk of cardboard.
I remember people making fun of the idea and initial appearance of cardboard drones a year ago. I think Russia has dabbled with them at the time.
In any case, this shit is crazy. Imagine what NATO and China are going to be like when there are 10,000 of these cheap things launched in swarms.
Even Russia’s paper tiger army is no match for Ukraine’s cardboard drones
The entire nature of modern warfare has changed before our eyes with this conflict, and I’m glad that Ukraine is the early beneficiary of that 🇺🇦🤩❤️
Australian here, this is sweet.
Glad we are finally doing more, since our government is so fucked its good to see private enterprise filling the gap.
Amazing if true. We need some kind of confirmation of the damages.
This reminds me of the largely wooden de Havilland Mosquito fighter bombers that were so effective during WWII that Herman Goering declared he would buy a proper British-designed radio once the war was over.
Would be nice to see a swarm of these take out the bridge connecting Crimea and Russia.
How do they do in rain?

The notion of sending a few dozen of these, only a few of which might be carrying explosives, against valuable Russian targets, soaking up all the AA defence, and *then* sending in the heavier explosive armed models tickles me…
Edit: Is it me or does the propeller look like it’s fitted to a classic glow fuel model aircraft engine, as opposed to an electric motor?
