  1. I understand and agree with the sentiment, but including Lindsay Graham in an honest conversation about any kind of democratic process is kind of silly.

  2. I don’t know, at some point I think it’s just better to say “We won’t hold elections under martial law”. Reasonable people will understand. Right now is not the time or place

    The whole “EU and US would have to pay for such election and send election observers to trenches” will just annoy people.

  3. The sooner Ukraine defeats Ruzzia the sooner elections can happen.

    Russia worries about how to take down their own soldiers tombstones and pave over the graveyards.

  7. How can you have elections when 20% of your country is under enemy occupation? Why waste the time and energy and risk blurring the clarity of purpose?

    This election thing seems to be a Russian idea infiltrated into public discourse.

    Right now, Ukraine is busy holding its broken pieces and people together, AND fighting off the genocidal bastards to the East.

  10. It’s a really good sign that Ukraine is even talking about elections but this can’t be serious. I expect they’ll think this one through and then stick to their plan.
