I agree the visual presentation is a step backwards not forwards and an unusual miss for Ukraine who has done very well in media presentation to date.
That aside I think Ukraine is very satisfied to let it’s own artillery (and drones) lead the way in pummeling the enemy in order to “prep” for future offensive actions and reduce it’s own casualties.
And the reports leaking over social media and via intercepts are indicating ruzzian artillery performance is notably degrading and losing the battle in places such as the Zap sector (Robotyne et al).
It is unfortunate one piece of information omitted is prisoners as we are getting little glimmers of information indicating Ukraine is taking lots of prisoners. And prisoners are almost always guys on the front line so if they take 50+ a day that is a serious amount of combat capability taken away from the enemy.
How do they manage to take out exactly 480 orcs every other day?
