Brings a tear to my eye. I remember accompanying my grandpa to the annual pierogi harvest every summer when I was a wee lad. Such unforgettable experiences. Sad that today’s kids experience it more and more rarely, with artificial store-bought pierogi etc.
You all may be laughing at this, but honestly, wouldn’t the world be a much better and kinder place if pierogi actually grew in fields? It would be like Babcia’s love growing in nature.
