I’m studying Bachelor of Engineering in Mathematical Modelling and Computer Science at OsloMet, I’ve just started there now. I’m really enjoying the course right now, don’t know yet if I want to take a Master’s Degree or not.

But I want to ask what the chances are of me getting my first job abroad right after my studies are finished. More specifically in the bigger countries like the US, Switzerland or any other well paying country.

Where do I even start looking for jobs abroad? Is [Finn.no](https://Finn.no) a reliable source for finding jobs abroad? It has a “jobs abroad” filter, but what are the better networks for finding jobs abroad, preferably a network developed by the specific countries, or if there is a wider network that incorporates a lot of different countries?

If there is a specific network for IT jobs specifically, that would be great. But a network in general where I can just filter for jobs would be great.

tl;dr: Where do I check for jobs abroad and what are the chances of me getting a job abroad as my first job?

  1. Why would you check finn.no (catering for the Norwegian market) if you want a job in Swiss or the US?
