Just curious – are you isolating because you’re sick? Or are you foregoing seeing your ma on Christmas as a precaution with nobody have sickness or symptoms?

Mother wanted to leave me Christmas dinner at the front door of hers as we are all isolating after my sister got covid, but I live in another house. She did make me her famous Christmas pudding though and the 2 other girls that tested positive with my sister she sent them over Christmas dinner.

We got a photo of my brother in law sitting halfway down the stairs with a mask on looking at his kids opening their presents from a generous distance. Very grim.
Lots of different Christmases this year, again, but we’ll make it work and in time will remember them for their differences.
