I followed Juice since he first appeared on American TV earlier in the war, he mentioned that he’d done some F-16 training, which is why he stuck in my head. As someone who follows the military aviation scene, I’ve talked about him quite alot with friends, followed his Twitter and Instagram and generally looked up to him. Just the day before his death I had said that I hoped that after the war he might join the likes of Mover and Ward Carol on Youtube and maybe even join the DCS sim community.
He was incredibly outspoken in regards to Ukraine getting F-16’s and I feel that Ukraine and the aviation community lost more than a pilot. My heart goes out to his girlfriend and family.
I hope when the first Ukrainian F16s are shown off on their fully painted Livery, his name will be on the spot by the cockpit where they put the intended Pilots name.
RIP juice. Many of us wished we had the chance to do what you did, bur many of us couldn’t dream we’d be able to measure up to such an honor.
