Anyone know what the deal is with Schlager Music? Seems to be a popular thing in Switzerland and other European countries. Was watching a TV special in Switzerland called “Die Schlager Des Sommers 2022” that had these two singers singing a pop song that everyone seemed to know the words too and loved tremendously. Schlager music sounds like pop music to my ears. I did read something about Eurovision being a popular contest of European musicans singing Schlager music. I’ve been a big fan of various artists who have sung in Eurovision before. Always thought it was just pop music.
