Hello friends,

Today, I just went to Ausländebehörde to get my visa extension. The officer gave me a Fiktionsbescheinigung (lasted for another 6 months).

Through my friends experiences, they told me the Fiktionbescheinigung cost around €17
(I don’t quite remember but something around that). I was a little bit panicked when they hand me the Fiktionbescheinigung because silly me, I don’t bring extra cash with me. The cash was solely enough to pay for the EU-Karte. To my surprise, they only ask me to pay for the EU-Karte. Did I got it for free? hahaha

Anyways I also ask them, if I could travel outside of Germany with the Fiktionsbescheinigung and yes I could (I tried in my broken deutsch). Later I came back home and google it once again (Just to make sure that I really understand it).

So here comes another problem, google shows this (Picture 1), while mine (Picture 2).

My concern is did I got the “§81 Abs. 4” Fiktionsbescheinigung type?

  1. IANAL, but yes, only the last box of the three is ticked. The other two are crossed out. The footnote under * says to cross out non-applicable items.
