Hi everyone, I was looking for an affordable DS program in Europe and stumbled on this one at Uni Antwerp

Does anyone have any experience applying or studying in this program? My background was in Finance even though I do have some credits relevant to CS and Data Science after finishing a Premaster’s course at a local university. It seems that the program doesn’t clarify their requirements for bachelor’s education, so it’s quite confusing whether my background is eligible or not. Can anyone give me an idea about this? Thank you!

Send an email to the school with your curriculum?
Bridging to another degree with no clear path is a case by case basis. They’ll tell you if you need to catch up and follow other credits before you can enroll the full program.
If they come back asking you to catch up on things that you clearly have demonstrable experience in, you might also get them waived if you have a leg to stand on.
So get in touch with a human at that school 🙂
I would recommend the one in Gent or the one year master at KUL.
They are normally very welcoming.
I wouldnt worry too much.
But positions can be limited if you want a scholarship.
It’s a CS degree so I doubt you’ll be able to tap in easily if you have a Finance background. In general, doing a different masters after a certain bachelor doesn’t happen a whole lot here in Belgium.
At UGent there’s a data science masters that’s more related to business and finance;

This does give admission requirements. Especially see the pre-screening form on the second link.
