Historically Italy has done poorly compared to western Europe in terms of deaths.
For reasons I don’t understand, even post vaccines 20k cases per day in Italy seems to give 150 deaths per day when it takes 50k cases in France or the UK to reach that number of deaths.
Hoping Italy don’t get battered by this.

It was just said on the news that there was for the first time over one million cases in the world today. So 12,7% of all cases were in Italy and another 10% in Spain.
