Doing all that in the head is challenging, but it’s a good exercise for forcing the kid to solve it in steps, writing up each step in a notebook as you go. It quickly becomes quite easy once the kid has learned the method, which is a satisfying and rewarding realisation in mathematics.
First one is 2 and second one is 1 because 7=7 and 8=8. I remember doing these but don’t know how old i was.
It’s done now, but it was a real pain trying to explain it to a kid who strugles with 14-5. Kid has only 10 fingers, lol
Fucking hell i can barely do those.
Took me like 2 min to get those
Just normal and easy, and I mean they are just basic addition and subtraction calculations. I had similar math algebra in second grade in 2004, but we didn’t call them algebra but math puzzles.
