I am currently looking to purchase replicas of the so called “Wawel-heads” or in polish “Głowy wawelskie”.
My grandmother purchased a couple of these for about 20 or so years ago and gifted them to my father. I have long wanted to purchase a set of my own since I always thought they looked fascinating and they come from my home country.
However visiting now I cannot find them anywhere. I have checked the shops at the Wawel castle and souvenir shops all around krakow but to no avail.
Could any krakow resident or native help a frustrated Polish-Swede?

These would have been manufactured by Cepelia (art and handcraft co-op). They were most popular during communist times and completely closed down in 2020.
