No-show jobs existed for years now, especially in Gozo. I am not excusing the facts just the facts, unfortunately… This was more prevalent at the Water services/Enemalta but now it’s everywhere.
When I applied for the electricity meter, they never sent a date and the dates I proposed they could never make it! And that is after I proposed a Sunday! So they only really work on their job when they are paid double… Unbelievable. The Plumber/electrician that did the finishing for the flats (water and even electrics) works at water services and he would only go in the office when, either he had a meeting or else if the minister visits the premises :/
And if you report them, you will get death threats within hours. Happened to family who reported to kastilja.
Good for him to speak up. He should take it one step further. Go out and confront these people in public.
That is what Jesus did. Jesus conquered death because he was not afraid of the dangers, his was the reward in heaven for doing what’s right here on earth .. that is the teaching of the church itself. He conquered fear of death, after that he could not be stopped.
Sometimes I wonder if the priest have even heard of Jesus. They sure are reluctant to follow up in his steps!
