Now I realise this is probably peak first world problems but is it a bit disingenuous of lidl here? This product is not recyclable.

  1. You do know most recyclable products that are put into recycling don’t actually get recycled..

  2. They did reduce the size of the bags. Symbol is misleading though in fairness.if anyone noticed or cared either way is another matter.

  3. It’s all rife with greenwashing unfortunately. Shampoo brands putting “recycle” on their packaging or “recyclable”. Or “biodegradable” when the conditions needed to biodegrade something aren’t possible in nature. Only 9% of plastic is recycled as the infrastructure isn’t there to deal with the massive amount of plastic consumed.
