    More seriously, though, I would have expected Spain to be higher just because of the sheer amount of German tourists traveling there ever year…

  2. Slovenia is quite surprising to me. Guess nowadays it’s due to the close proximity to Austria (?). But I can confirm. Multiple people such as hotel staff or train attendants spoke to me in German there when they saw my ID or heard my speak German with my gf

  3. That is not a map of the EU as it looks today. It must be over a decade old actually!

  4. I guess it’s not statistically significant, but Luxemburg being lower than the Netherlands surprises me.
