Typical double standard. Israelis can do and wear whatever they want no one cares how offensive that shit is to the Palestinians and Arabs. But god forbid one Arab guy wear something to support his side. Won’t someone think of the poor settlers feelings?! Take that dirty man away to the crown courts.
Fuck this shit. Prosecuted for wearing a t shirt 🙄
I can’t see Hamas being more of terrorist organisation than IDF. I personally think that both should be treated as such.
Edit: typo

Edit: If you have to take my comment out of context at least have the decency to respond to me. /u/Tricky_Peace bailed after absurdly linking my comment to the actions of the EDL, all while being upset about my own linking. Clearly the gatekeeper of linking apparently.
Sentenced for wearing a T-shirt, ffs, how pathetic is this country getting.
I’ve never heard of someone being charged with terrorism offences for wearing a T-shirt affiliated with white power organisations.
The hypocrisy is quite astounding.
Good. If he wants to wear t-shirts extolling the virtues of groups which pay a “martyr’s fund” to the families of anyone who kills a Jew, it’s just *so so sad* that he’s been punished and I really couldn’t care les-
Sorry, I zoned out.
Oh yes, where was I? For anyone who thinks groups like this are standing up to oppression, may I ask what oppression their forerunner groups were standing up to in 1949 to the mid fifties, when Palestinian fedayeen would murder up to 50 Israelis a month in cross border raids? When Gaza was under the control of Egypt, and the West Bank was controlled by Jordan? Those are the groups that Hamas and Hezbollah take their lead from, with Hamas’ charter stating their ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel.
Now, no one would take a group seriously in this country in the modern day if one their stated aims was the deportation of every non-white person, so why should a group like Hamas (in Gaza) be afforded the level of the respect of a legitimate political organisation? Oh wait, they shouldn’t.
This isn’t me saying that *all* Palestinian opposition to Israel are terrorists before anyone decides to pull that either.
Would be interested to know what were the other ways he could have supported these organisations without ending up in court as the judge mentioned. Seems to me that wearing a t shirt is the least you could you.
Wearing a pro Palestine terror group shirt in a Jewish community is a bit of a cunt move but being a cunt isn’t a crime.
Hopefully he and his circle of friends are on a watch list now.
This is ridiculous. An organisation being banned shouldn’t mean that people can’t talk about it or non-materially support it.
There’s no way you’d fall foul of the law for wearing a T-shirt supporting the IDF, even in a part of London populated by Palestinians.
This guy is a dick, sure, and trying to get a rise – though why British Jews should be offended by support for an organisation in Palestine is another question. But being a dick should not be illegal.
We going to start sentencing all the celtic fans wearing IRA memorabilia too?
Lol what a stupid country 🤣
Can you wear an American flag shirt, seeing as how they just vaporized a family including like 7 kids on their way out of Afghanistan? Or an Israel flag shirt? Or a Saudi flag shirt?
I am as pro-Israel as they come, but this is concerning. You shouldn’t be arrested for wearing a t shirt. It comes down to the mantra “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it”.
ITT: just the usual brand of /r/uk antisemitism. Nothing to see here.

I’m glad the Magistrate made this point.
