Hello Guys! I’d need your help regarding Säule 3b and Life insurance.
I’m austrian, 32 yrs. old and moved to zurich around 5 years ago. I’m healthy and my income is quite ok. I went to the tax consultant (Steuerberater) to do my tax report, which he did in a hurry in 20minutes , I paid 170CHF.
After that he told me he’ll do a free risk and financial analysis for me. Then he calculated that when I retire I will miss 1400Chf monthly to live my standard of life? (Einkommenslücke)
Then he gave me the two ‘Vorsorgelösungen’ which seem to be funds, the one is a 3b fund from Swiss life with a yealy cost of 6000CHF, the other one a life insurance with a monthly payment of 588 CHF from PAX. Now he already called me 6 times, and i didnt answer the last calls as I’m on holidays. What do you guys think? Seems a bit skechy and also don’t like the pressure.
Could you guys help me? Thanks!!
see attached the two offers

Never sign a contract who mixes savings/investments with life insurance.
You are 32, so you still have 33 years before retirements. 33 years is higher than 10 years, so if you need/want to save money for retirement you can open a 3a with either Frankly, Finpension or Viac and invest your money inside of it.
If you need an actual life insurance, take an insurance without an investment part.
Ugh…
What **you need** to cope with your retirement needs and to save tax money:

* A Pilar 3a (and not 3b) solution from a non-insurance financial institute. Check maybe [out here](https://finpension.ch/de/die-beste-saeule-3a/) for some info about such providers of 3a.
* If you want life insurance, look for a whole life insurance (Todesfallversicherung) at any Swiss insurance company. Just think if and whom do you want to benefit before closing such a deal.
What you do **not need**:
* A Pilar 3b solution from an insurance that is not tax-deductable anyways. Tell the dude to fuck off, i.e. you decided not to take any of those options and are not interested in further offerings.
