People need to realise how close they are to their favourite restaurant closing. The costs have literally doubled and now they have this VAT rise. Diageo have increased their prices again as well. I work in a 3 million a year turnover gastropub, my boss says he has never lost as much money as he this year. I wish people understood the price rises in hospitality, its not gouging its necessary.
