But I’m an armchair general who’s watched several WWII documentaries and I demand respect! /s
I support this message.
I have an even better suggestion. Anyone who thinks the counteroffensive is going too slow should simply start donating all they can to help Ukraine progress faster.
The people who claim with confidence that Ukraine’s counteroffensive has failed have in the past:
– Russia would never invade Ukraine. They did.
– Ukraine would last for three days or less. They didn’t.
– Ukraine failed their 2022 counteroffensive. They succeeded in their aims.
– Predicted that Europe wouldn’t be able to withstand the winter without Russian oil and gas. Not only was this not true, the only part of Europe that actually had a rough winter for the most part was Russia. Which is embarrasing as Russia has a lot of oil and gas.
– Frothed at joy with Russia taking Bakhmut even though it is a strategically insignificant city only made important thanks to Russian propaganda and Wagner’s powerplay. (What happened to Wagner again? What happened to Prigozhin’s (Pig)?)
Needless to say, you shouldn’t listen to military opinions from *those* people.
To be clear, he absolutely did not say “all critics.” Gas lit heading.
He said, to critics saying the offensive is moving too slowly. Massive difference.
If you have an issue with the pace, shut up, donate bigger guns or go to the front yourself and prove your point
