I just moved out for the first time; why do I have to additionally pay Akontorechnung of 54.10 CHF if I already pay “Nebenkosten” in my monthly rent?

1. Unfortunately Electricity is never part of the Nebenkosten.
   Nebenkosten in most cases only have Heating, Water, Waste Water, sometimes Waste (depending on Kanton). Electricity in most cases needs to be payed separately

2. The akontorechnung is just an approximation. At the end of the year they will do a detailed billing and see if there is any surplus or any money that you owe
