I’ve seen this from Insider a few times before. Funny how they did one on Vienna. Personally I get where he’s coming from but it’s a cheap shot for sure.

Unfriendly locals and freezing temperatures made me feel unwelcome and **isolated**.
Most of us felt kinda isolated when the pandemic started, considering lockdowns and whatnot. I get that’s not the point he’s making, I just find it unintentionally funny how you’d complain about feeling isolated if you’re moving to a completely foreign place at the height of a pandemic that has people either completely hunkering down at home, or at the very least shut down most of the public life.
