Ze verwijzen ook naar een studie van de ETO, maar die legt gewoon de geldstromen bloot tussen ons land en een land dat als belastingsparadijs omschreven wordt. Dat is niet puur winst. Van die stromen is wellicht 80 procent gewoon in orde. 10% ofzoiets gaat over aftrekbare kosten.
Het gaat ook vooral over den diamant sector, die dealen vaak met dat type landen. Het belastingsverdrag met die mannen hermaken kan mogelijk resulteren dat ze verkassen naar ergens anders, en dan hebben we niks meer.
Swat, kort door den bocht met verkrachte cijfers. Voor de strijd tegen fake news had het niet misstaan dat de morgen een artikel zou bij linken dat het werkelijke “doorgesluisde” bedrag zelfs niet in de buurt komt van die 172miljard..

Lets tax everyone more because we really can’t have those poor poor people from those big companies only being able to buy 5 superyachts this year.
Jaar na jaar na jaar verdwijnen hier bedragen van honderden miljarden naar belastingparadijzen. Tel daar de bedrijven/multinationals bij die bijna geen winstbelasting betalen, het is gewoon van niet willen bij onze regering!
Er is steeds geld genoeg, er komt er eigenlijk enkel maar bij, maar degene die er al zoveel van hebben vinden het nog steeds niet genoeg…
What an absolute populistic garbage article. Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands are all considered tax heavens of some sort. How many billions of euros of transactions are done by belgian or foreign companies or private citizens from a foreign bank account to a belgian bank account ? Probably hundreds of billions of euros a year aswell. Should we take every euro that’s part of a transaction of a foreign bank account to a belgian bank account of any private citizen or company and tax it for 100% and put it in the treasury?
Anyone agreeing with this basically agrees that if a normal person buys a property in Belgium or the Netherlands, the complete amount should be stolen by the government and put into the treasury. That’s basically the same nonsense as this article.
There can be hundreds of reasons why a certain amount of money moves to a tax heaven. Maybe some1 buys a property in the netherlands, maybe some1 orders something from a company that is located there (bol.com). Multinationals are active all over the world. Maybe their headquarters are located in Amsterdam so all transactions come through Amsterdam. Could all be legitimate reasons.
But this article makes it seem like it’s all money part of a money laundering scheme. Well, I see the statement comes from Hart boven hard, an extreme left organisation. No surprise then.
Even if this 172 billion hasn’t been correctly taxed (which isn’t always the case), this doesn’t mean the state will/should receive 172 billion. These headlines make it seem that way.
If you give the government 172 billion extra they will only find new and creative ways to waste it.

They did this in the UK in the small town of ‘Crickhowell’. Small bussinessowners there copied the schemes multinationals use to avoid taxes.
