This is kinda interesting. People always talk about the problem of the rich, of car pollution, but they rarely talk about the problem of waste fashion though they spend their Saturday afternoon buying clothes at Zara and H&M (even though they took the train or bicycle to go there).

That kind of pollution is quite huge. We can also think about all the shit people buy when they have babies, and use it only for 1 year, instead of buying second-hand, or all the cosmetic garbage like cream, perfume, etc.
I feel like all this is a LOT less useful than having a car to go to your job or bring the kids at school, or buying an A/C system at home. That kind of pollution is just for social climbing and we should talk about it more IMHO because regulating this will affect the people a LOT less than regulating transportation.
